The newest ballad group 3AM (three acoustic men) are already receiving acknowledgment from Filipino and Korean fans around the world. On May 28, 2010 at 4:32 PM an article was made on a well known Korean news website http://www.allkpop.com entitled 3AM receives heat from international netizens!

many people are defending them?

  3. Gum says:

Matchbox 20 has a song 3AM, how sure are you that it’s not borrowed from the song?

  4. Anonymous says:

@gum correct! not everything in the universe revolves around kpop so please stop the negativity :))

@gum that was way back in 1998…
and then now gagawa sila ng grupo on the height of kpop in the philippines…at talagang accoustic group pa..
tapos saktong-sakto sikat ang kpop groups na 2PM and 2AM..
ano pa kaya sa tingin mo ang obvious??
    wag na kaseng tatanga-tanga…

  6. REALLY?? says:

If they want to be called Three Accoustic Men then let them. geez! The meaning of the names have nothing in common. Even KOREANS agree, come on now! 2AM is NOT that famous, feeling lahat ng korean groups sikat! 2AM is still has a long way to go in my book.

hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit lahat kinokonekta nyo sa mga koreano nyo, edi kung ‘di nyo sila gusto wag nyo na lang silang pansinin. Puhlease, not all things are about them. nakakairita na ang pangbabash ng dahil lang sa kapangalan sila, pakilawakan natin ang ating mga pag- iisip at pang- unawa ha, medyo nakakahiya na tayo, mas sinusuportahan pa sila ng ibang mga lahi kaysa mga kababayan nila. let’s be open- minded, people and try to give them them their due, wait for their debut. If you can’t then it would be better to shut up.

And be careful with your words, just because people have different opinion than yours does not make them ‘tanga’

2 AM and 2PM aren’t popular in the Philippines although some Kpop groups are…. they’re not marketed by recording companies and not all Filipinos are Kpop listeners, so it is probable that neither of them really heard of 2 AM. And besides, why call them ‘gaya-gaya’ when the name actually came from ‘fans’/viewers? 3 AM was picked because it garnered the higest votes. Why not call the one who actually concepted their name ‘gaya-gaya’

And 3AM was a famous song. Though Push was more popular

You guys are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Do you hear Americans or Koreans complaining about the title of Lee Hyori’s song, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? That’s definitely NO Hyori original(the title). There was a film and song in the late 60’s called ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. Obviously, the name of Hyori’s song was taken from the movie and the classic song.

Also there was a band called 4AM before 2 PM/AM. Do you hear people making a big deal out of it? Nope.
